  • A mungbean (Vigna radiata) genome browser and gene models are now available at LIS.

The genome sequencing project, led from the lab of Dr. Suk-Ha Lee, has a home page here. The genome is described in Kang et al., 2014: "Genome sequence of mungbean and insights into evolution within Vigna species".

  • Lotus (Lotus japonicus): LIS now has the latest version of the genome (version 3.0), thanks to the Lotus genome consortium. The previous version (2.5) is also available. The gene models (v3.0) are also listed at the genes search page.
  • Both new gene model sets have been included in the Phytozome 10.2-based gene families and as BLAST-able target databases.
  • Gene trees now come with explanatory legends, see here for example.
